Happy Nine Months! -- Feliz Nueve Meses!

Well, today is nine months.
It seems like just yesterday I was getting off the bus in Argentina and meeting The Curubeto's for the first time. I never thought, looking back on that day, that these people would become so much more to me than just a host family; they would really become my second family.
I want to say thank you. There really aren't words to explain how grateful and lucky I am to have found you all. Thank you for all the memories that I will never forget. You four have changed me more than you can imagine. I love you all, so much.
As for my exchange...
I often think where has all this time gone? Nine months has already passed by, I sometimes wish I could just freeze time and live these moments a little longer. They always told me back home that it was going to fly by and that I would miss home but it'd pass. The truth is, time did fly, I did miss home, but it did pass.
So as a nine month update, I'm happy to report that I'm happier than ever.
Thank you to everyone who made this all possible.

Un Techo Para Mi Pais is an organization that helps build new houses for those in need. The program goes to underdeveloped areas in Latin America and volunteers spend the weekend constructing houses. It is not only an experience of learning teamwork and construction but also getting to know a new world. This past weekend I volunteered in a part of Salto and it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I met so many new and amazing people, as well as learned another way of life.

Radio Arapay

I went to my host dad's radio show this morning. I talked about my exchange and Uruguay in general. Things I like, I don't like, where I've been, what I do. It was a pretty cool experience.
