I have been here in Salto, Uruguay for three weeks now. I cannot express how amazing my entire experience has been so far. Leaving home was difficult but it was worth every tear. Camp in Miami and then Buenos Aires was absolutely one of the greatest things I have ever done. I was lucky enough to meet so many independent young people from all around the world. I then traveled to Concordia, Argentina where I met my beautiful host family.

I couldn't have been blessed with a better family. They are some of the most inviting and loving people I have ever met. Here I have my father Jose Luis, my mother Raquel, my sister Amanda but we call her Luli, and my brother Anselmo (Totu). We also have a dog, Potter (as in Harry Potter), a turtle, and a kitty who is the smallest thing I have ever seen.
